FA Cup

Sutton were drawn at home to AFC Fylde in the first round[41] and to either Barnsley or Horsham in the second round.[42] On 14 November, Barnsley won their replay 3–0 and were confirmed as the opponents for the U's,[43] However Barnsley were removed from the competion for fielding an ineligible player, therefore Horsham are now the second round visitors.[44] In the third round, the U's were drawn away to Plymouth Argyle.[45]
