Yassin Daoussi (born 2 June 2000) is a Finnish professional footballer who plays as a right-back for Veikkausliiga club AC Oulu.[2]
Club career
Early years
Daoussi started playing football with Hakunilan Riento in Vantaa. He also played in the youth sectors of Korson Palloseura (KOPSE) and Pallokerho Keski-Uusimaa (PKKU).[3] In the beginning of his senior career, Daoussi played three seasons in Kakkonen with Käpylän Pallo (KäPa) and Nurmijärven Jalkapalloseura (NJS), and three seasons in Ykkönen with Mikkelin Palloilijat (MP) and Ekenäs IF, respectively.[4]
AC Oulu
On 3 November 2022, Daoussi signed with AC Oulu on a one-year deal with an option for an additional year, ahead of the 2023 Veikkausliiga-season.[5] He made his debut in Veikkausliiga on 5 April 2023, in the opening game against KTP, playing full 90 minutes in 2–0 away victory.[6] He scored his first goal in the league on 22 July 2023, in a 3–1 home win against KTP.[7]
On 14 November 2023, AC Oulu announced that they had exercised their option and Daoussi's contract was extended for the 2024 season.[8]
International career
Daoussi has represented Finland at under-16 and under-17 youth national team level.
Personal life
Born and raised in Finland, Daoussi holds dual Finnish-Moroccan citizenship.[1]
